KiteEdge is pleased to announce with immediate effect that Amar Rajani has agreed to join the KiteEdge Board of Advisors. Further, Amar as co-lead investor in KiteEdge will lead a syndicate of investors into the business.
Amar is Founder and Managing Director of Argella Limited, an advisory firm specialising in FinTech and research. Prior to this he spent the past 17 years at Bloomberg LP, where he was Global Product Manager for their research management business. This included Bloomberg’s research aggregation platform and responsibility for the research stream of Bloomberg’s recently released MiFID II solution.
Chief Executive Officer of KiteEdge, James Flavin, explained why adding Amar to the Advisory Board is so important.
“Amar’s immense knowledge of the research space and competitive dynamics will help KiteEdge achieve its ambition to become a mission-critical internal data-search layer for complex multi-asset class managers. His experience in building enterprise research applications and extensive series of asset manager relationships is a perfect fit for KiteEdge.”
Amar is an experienced FinTech executive with a strong track record in successfully developing businesses and products for asset managers in the research space.
“Today asset managers are in charge,” says Amar. “They need to make sure they are getting the most from paid research – receiving the right piece of content at the right time. I am excited to be joining KiteEdge at a time when they are leading the way in transforming search, combining the best of human and artificial intelligence to provide a solution dedicated to the MiFID II environment”.
